Historical note
Kasteel Aldendriel. Gedeeltelijk omgracht huis uit de eerste helft van de 17e eeuw, gewijzigd in 1763. Kern van het hoofdgebouw is een oudere vakwerkbouw uit de 16e eeuw. Ingangsvleugel met poortboog tussen trapgevels; aan de noordzijde van het binnenplein de woonvleugel, met oostelijke trapgevel; muurankers 1763. Voorhof met vijf poorttoegangen tussen bakstenen pilasters met natuurstenen bekroningen, 17e eeuw.
