The Register
The Base Mérimée is not a finished document. Protections are added, buildings move from inscrit to classé, notices are renamed. Each monthly sync compares what the register says now with what it said before, and the differences are listed here.
A factual comparison of two moments in the same public register: buildings newly recorded, protection raised or lowered, notices that disappeared. It says what changed in the record, not what changed at the building — a protection raised in 2026 can concern work carried out decades earlier. Name changes are left out on purpose: for many records the displayed name comes from Wikidata, and an edit there is not a change in the register.
