Historical note
Drakestein, Ridderhofstad, achthoekig centraliserend landhuis van 1640 in omgrachting gelegen. In XVIII gemoderniseerd en in XIX bepleisterd. Ter weerszijden van het voorplein XIX gepleisterde bouwhuizen. Vierkante gemetselde duiventoren in neogotische trant, midden 19e eeuw. Spitsbogige deur en nissen. Bossagewerk in baksteen op de hoeken. Bekroning met kantelen.
