What Le Roi du Château is, in this relationship
Le Roi du Château is a publisher and a directory. It provides space in which an advertiser presents their own offering to an audience. It is not an estate agent, a broker, an intermediary, a buyer's or seller's representative, a valuer, a surveyor, a financial adviser or a travel organiser, and it is not a party to any agreement the advertiser concludes with a visitor.
Any agreement about a property, a stay or a service is concluded directly between the visitor and the advertiser. Le Roi du Château does not negotiate on either side, does not accept or transmit offers, and does not hold money belonging to either party.
What the advertiser warrants
By submitting a listing, the advertiser confirms that they:
- are entitled to advertise the property, accommodation or service concerned;
- hold every licence, registration or professional card that the applicable law requires for their activity;
- have the right to use every image and text they supply, including for commercial purposes;
- will keep the listing accurate, and will withdraw or correct it without delay when it ceases to be so.
The advertiser remains responsible for their own regulatory obligations. Publication here neither grants nor substitutes for any authorisation.
What we publish about the advertiser
Every listing identifies who is advertising: name, the kind of advertiser, company name and registration where one exists, country, and — where the activity is regulated — the professional status supplied. Where we state that something has been checked, we state exactly what was checked and when. We do not describe a property, its condition, its legal position or its value as verified, because we do not verify those things.
Fees
Advertising is charged as a fixed fee for a fixed period, or as a subscription. Le Roi du Château does not charge a percentage of a transaction, does not charge per introduction, and does not receive a payment that depends on whether an agreement is concluded.
Moderation
A listing passes through review before it is published. We may decline, suspend or withdraw a listing that is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, or that presents Le Roi du Château as a party to a transaction. Every change of status is recorded with its date.
Priority in case of conflict
Where these terms conflict with mandatory law in the advertiser's jurisdiction, that law prevails and the rest of these terms remain in force.
