Domaine du Closel is based at Château des Vaults in Savennières, Maine-et-Loire. The estate combines a classical house and landscaped agricultural park with vineyards on the Loire’s right-bank slopes. Chenin Blanc and the area’s varied schist, volcanic and metamorphic geology are central to its account of Savennières.
