Austrått Manor: a historic residence by the Trondheimsfjord

Nordenfjeldske Kunstindustrimuseum manages the visitor presentation of the historic residence, known in Norwegian as Austråttborgen. The museum describes Austrått as one of Norway’s oldest manorial sites, with a history reaching into the Middle Ages. Guided visits take visitors into the halls and chapel.
