Ce manoir était le siège de la seigneurie de Courgeout. La chapelle, construite vers 1638, fut consacrée en 1642. A l’origine, l’édifice possédait un clocher sans doute abattu à la Révolution. Il s’agit d’un bel exemple de chapelle privée du 17e siècle, rare dans la région percheronne.
