Le nom du manoir provient probablement de celui du menhir, inclus dans la propriété. A la grande tour carrée avec sa tourelle ronde (fin 16e siècle ?) , est venue s’adjoindre une aile au 18e siècle. L’ensemble a conservé quelques boiseries.
