From the register

La construction du château actuel, à un emplacement différent du précédent manoir, est attribuée à Pierre Le Pesant, seigneur de Bois-Guilbert et Pinterville, lieutenant général au bailliage de Rouen, qui a résidé à Pinterville de 1677 à 1690. Il s’agit du corps principal, régulier en plan, avec pavillon central et pavillons transversaux aux extrémités, très homogène dans son architecture de pierre et de brique.
