From the register

Château construit à la fin du 13e siècle pour servir d’avant-poste au château d’Aiguilhe. Il conserve son plan rectangulaire et quelques éléments du 14e s. Il est réaménagé aux 16e et 17e siècles par l’ouverture de baies et la construction d’un bâtiment créant une cour intérieure.
