From the register

Demeure fortifiée du 15e siècle qui a connu des modifications successives. La plus grande partie du château a été reconstruite au 17e siècle (corps de logis sud et ouest, tours nord-est et sud-est). Petits aménagements au 18e siècle (boiseries...). L’ensemble fut très remanié à partir de 1830 : construction de la chapelle, de la tour sud-ouest, du mur crénelé sur l’aile ouest, exhaussement des combles, aménagements intérieurs (salle à manger et bibliothèque). Le château, de plan en U, est complété par d’importants communs ainsi que par un parc avec glacière.
