From the register

L’actuel château a remplacé une forteressse qui défendait la chaussée traversant la vallée. C’est Honoré-Charles de Buissy, maire et commandant d’Abbeville qui entreprit les travaux en 1733. A sa mort en 1762, son fils fit terminer l’interieur.
